Los van een discussie over waarom Robbie Williams en Tom Jones zo verrekte Amerikaans moeten klinken tijdens het zingen (hebben jullie dat ooit begrepen? dat mensen die Britser klinken dan Blair, Schotser dan Connery plotseling tijdens het zingen Elvis accentloos laten lijken?) hebben we gister en vanochtend nog meer fijne dingen gedaan.
E?n van de grote voordelen van het hebben van een half-Tjechische vriendin is natuurlijk dat ze je kan leren Goulash te maken. (Wel even neerscrollen om de Goulash te zien... )
Goulash bestaat natuurlijk zoals we weten uit de volgende dingen:
- Paprika
- Paprika poeder
- Cayennepeper
- Zout
- Laurierblad
- Rundvlees
- Ui
- Knoflook
- Tomaat
- Bouillonblokjes
- Komijn (belangrijk hoor)
Hetgeen je dan samen laat koken en braden tot een potje in ongeveer twee dagen tijd. Maar de truc met dit gedoe is, en dat wist ik nooit, dat als je goeie Goulash wil maken, je boter moet smelten, en dan nog voor de ui en knoflook eigenlijk een halve kilo paprikapoeder in die boter moet gooien om de smaak er goed in te branden. Bovendien heet die meuk in het Tjechisch Gulas.

Waarschijnlijk omdat je tijdens het zingen noch de tijd noch de zin hebt om op je 'aangekweekte' accent te letten. Immers als jij geaggiteerd bent praat je ook in een keer een stuk minder engels engels LOL.
Over Gulas kan ik kort zijn. BAH!!

Overigens vindt Petra Gulas wel erg lekker. Dus misschien kun ji of je liefhebbende het een keer maken als je komt in week 10. Waar ik overigens nog steeds geen zekerheid over heb mogen krijgen.
